Timezone Handling and Infrastructure Improvements
We've just rolled out an important update to improve the way our platform handles timezones for port calls — especially relevant for agents operating across different regions.
🌍 Smarter Timezone Support
Port calls are now automatically assigned to the local time of the port, regardless of the user’s own timezone. This means:
No more manual time adjustments or timezone offsets.
Daylight savings time is accounted for automatically.
Booking and editing port calls is now consistent and reliable across all timezones.
This change is especially useful for users outside Iceland (like our agency partner in Denmark), and fully supports operations in regions like the Faroe Islands.
🚀 Infrastructure Improvements
We also upgraded our deployment pipeline to align with the latest GitHub Actions updates:
Deprecated actions were replaced to ensure future-proof deployments.
Builds are now faster and more secure.
Improved support for artifact management and Azure deployment.
These changes are part of our ongoing commitment to making the platform more robust, intuitive, and scalable.
